The Linux Backup Utility (LBU) is a simple, menu-driven script for performing backups and restoration of data from tars, compressed tars, and tapes. It supports basic hardware compression as well as variable hardware block sizes. It lets you configure tar block sizes, exclusion lists, inclusion lists and it supports wildcards.
lcccd14 is a kernel driver that gives normal user level programs the ability to communicate with the astronomical camera "OES LcCCD14". The module provides ioctl() commands for operating the camera electronics, setting up the cooling stage and controlling the integration of the image. It is intended to write a SANE backend later on that uses this module.
KTnef is a TNEf file viewer/extractor for KDE. It scans TNEF file for attachments, and shows the result in an archiver-like interface, allowing you to view or extract those attachments easily. It integrates completely into the KDE environment for file viewing, using the MIME types encoded in the TNEF file. It can also bee registered as an opening application for e-mail clients, like Netscape.
