rstash is a server and client for transferring files over a network into file drop boxes on the server. It is primarily aimed at transferring things such as backup files from one host to another without opening up complete shell accounts, NFS, FTP, or other full file transfer mechanisms. The server has a set of boxes into which the client can put named files in a write-only fashion. No access to any portions of the server's file system outside the configured drop boxes is permitted.
SCST is a mid-level SCSI target subsystem for Linux. This subsystem allows a remote host to access local storage devices through the SCSI protocol. SCST supports multiple network storage protocols, including iSCSI, SRP, and FCoE, and also supports Qlogic 22xx/23xx SCSI HBAs. Strong points of SCST are its stability, maturity, high performance, and low latency. See also the iSCSI-SCST, SRPT and scstqla2x00t projects, as well as open-fcoe.org.
SRPT is a SCSI RDMA Protocol (SRP) target implementation on top of SCST, a mid-level SCSI target subsystem for the Linux kernel. This software makes it possible for remote systems to access local storage over an InfiniBand network. This storage protocol target implementation offers a higher bandwidth and a lower latency than any other storage protocol target implementation available for Linux.
mydp is a program for processing mysqldump files in the manner of ‘awk’. It reads mysqldump SQL statements from standard input and executes Lua callback functions as table definitions and insert statements are encountered. The Lua callback functions are specified in a file passed to mydp via the command line. The callbacks are typically used to filter and process only a small subset of the MySQL dump data and/or save it for further processing. mydp is written in Lex and Lua.
Web-KeePass is a Web based port of the KeePass project, which is an easy-to-use password manager which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. All passwords are unlocked with one master password. It is focused on deep encryption, password secrecy, and ease of use. Web-KeePass is a full-featured, client-server application. It comes bundled with Tomcat 5.5 but is easily configured to any Java Servlet Web server.
Exbase is a backup system which aims to replace hand-written backup scripts. Instead of writing backup scripts for each kind of system, Exbase adopts this task by working as some kind of middleware between the backup source and its targets. Exbase is configured using an XML configuration file. Exbase works by fetching data from the source(s) and delivering it to the target(s). Sources and targets may take a wide variety of forms.
Easylzma is a C library and command line tools for LZMA compression and decompression. It uses Igor Pavlov's reference implementation and SDK. It is meant to be a tiny wrapper and portable build system around a subset of Igor Pavlov's LZMA compression and decompression implementation. The API is small and intended to be straightforward. The project aims to support multiple different prominent LZMA file formats and is focused on producing something that is easy to build and use everywhere.
