ClassyTk is an extension of Tk based on the ClassyTcl Object system. It adds a lot of improvements to Tk, ranging from drag and drop support (between Tk apps) and a configuration system to a large set of new widgets and commands, written using the object system. It also contains a GUI Builder that can be used to graphically create interfaces. It is invoked via the cbuild command in the bin directory. There are also some sample (but useable) applications created with ClassyTk: a very useable editor, a calculator, a drawing program, and more.
schema map is a Web-based Oracle database explorer. It caches meta data about all tables, columns, triggers, constraints, indexes, and sequences, and allows you to view all tables that are FKed to a given table, or that have a column containing the same name as a given column. A number of persistent query buffers can be edited, cleared, and run with a single click.
playerdo is a script for controlling a variety of different media players from a single command line interface. It is intended to be used with keyboard shortcuts, especially the media keys (play/pause, next, etc.) found on many keyboards. It automatically detects which media player is running and tries to do the right thing.
DVTS (Digital Video Transport System) sends and receives DV data using the Internet. It consists of dvsend and dvrecv - dvsend receives DV data via IEEE1394, and sends it to dvrecv using IP, while dvrecv receives DV/RTP packets, and sends DV data using an IEEE1394 interface. Using DVTS, high quality realtime video meeting can be achieved. It consumes about 8-35 Mbps of network bandwidth. Supported platforms are FreeBSD4.x, MacOSX, and Linux.
