Flume is a component pipeline engine. It allows you to chain multiple workers into a pipeline mechanism. The intention of Flume is that each of the workers should provide access to a different type of technology. For example, a pipeline could consist of a Jython script worker followed by a BeanShell script worker followed by an XSLT worker.
The vomit utility converts a Cisco IP phone conversation into a wav file that can be played with ordinary sound players. The phone conversation can either be played directly from the network or from a tcpdump output file. Vomit is also capable of inserting wavfiles into ongoing telephone conversations. It can be used as a network debugging tool, a speaker phone, etc.
ShoStats is a reimplementation of phpSysInfo in Perl, useful for running from crontab and outputting the stats to a PHP include file, which can then be displayed on a hosting account. It is modular and configurable, including modules to support both Linux, OpenBSD, and NetBSD, an output module for PHP include files, and transfer modules for output to stdout (which can be redirected or piped) and uploading to an FTP server.
