The Information System Development Kit gives the developer a platform-independent method of creating Information Systems with data forms, SQL database access, database-browsing support, report generator and many other useful features. ISDK is now in a development stage and it is available only for the Linux operating system. The form module now works on text terminals using the ncurses library (not functional right now), and on the X-Window system using the GTK+ toolkit.
iSSL (independant Secure Sockets Layer) is a minimalistic cryptographical API that uses the RSA and AES ciphers to establish SSL-alike, secure encrypted communications between two peers communicating through a network socket, including session key generation and public key exchange.
iPAQ Hanheld Linux is a distribution for the iPAQ H36xx series handheld computer (PDA). It consists of a bootloader, several cramfs binary images of file systems to be loaded into flash, and the sources of modified components. It also consists of some other software that may be of use to others working on handheld computers: a Grafitti-like program, etc. It includes a fully-functioning X server based on XFree86, and basic applications.
The ipaudit package records and displays network activity. It is useful for identifying heavy bandwidth users, intrusive telnet sessions, denial of service attacks, and scans. It includes ipaudit, which stores counts of bytes and packets for every combination of host/port pairs and protocol. The utilities total and ipstrings can be used to investigate network traffic records from the command line. ipaudit-web can collect network traffic statistics and generate Web reports.
iplog is a TCP/IP traffic logger. Currently, it is capable of logging TCP, UDP, and ICMP traffic. iplog is able to detect TCP port scans, TCP null scans, FIN scans, UDP and ICMP "smurf" attacks, bogus TCP flags, TCP SYN scans, TCP "Xmas" scans, ICMP ping floods, UDP scans, and IP fragment attacks. iplog is able to run in promiscuous mode and monitor traffic to all hosts on a network. iplog uses libpcap to read data from the network and can be ported to any system that supports pthreads and on which libpcap will function.
inpowerd is an inetd server that receives power event notifications over the network and notifies sysvinit about these power events. It is useful when more than one machine is connected to the same UPS but only one of them communicates with the UPS directly. The rpwrstat utility, which is distributed with inpowerd, can be used to notify inpowerd about power events. The rpwrstat utility is easy to port and currently known to work on Linux/Unix and NetWare. The rpwrstat distribution contains a compiled NetWare Loadable Module which is tested on IntraNetWare 4.11. This makes it possible to connect machines running NetWare and Linux to the same UPS.
ICI is a general purpose interpretive programming language that has dynamic typing and flexible data types with the flow control constructs and operators of C. It is designed for use in many environments, including embedded systems, as an adjunct to other programs, as a text-based interface to compiled libraries, and as a cross-platform scripting language with good string-handling capabilities.
icqlib is the most feature complete, open source, library implementation of Mirabilis' ICQ protocol available on the Internet. It currently supports most of the ICQ UDP v5 and ICQ TCP v2 protocols, including new UIN registration, chat, and file transfer. It was written in C for portability, and supports multiple simultaneous connections to ICQ servers, SOCKS5 firewalls for both UDP and TCP protocols, an event-driven, non-blocking interface, and the Russian language (automatically performs conversion from Windows 1251 encoding to Unix koi8 encoding).
