trillbox is a flexible and extendable toolkit for building dynamic Web pages. Written in Perl and based on Template::Recall, it provides "widgets" (or controls) that you can quickly integrate into your Perl Web application. trillbox widgets are designed to be independent points of control that can be easily plugged into a Web programming system, e.g. a CGI application, template-based, or included as part of an application framework. Widgets purposely have no direct knowledge of each other in order to offer the greatest flexibility (although they may be designed so that output and input can be piped between widgets).
Form Spam Bot Blocker is a PHP class that can generate forms that prevent submission by spam robots without requiring human users to enter special values. It generates hidden inputs for forms that have special values that are verified on the server after the form is submitted to eventually detect whether the form was sent by a spam robot.
Yaacfi is an authentication, authorization, and access control filter for J2EE Web applications. This filter loosely emulates J2EE servlet container role based security with some extensions, and allows to easily implement login procedures for much more complicated user interaction schemes than the standard container-based security form login procedure. These schemas are required to provide cookie login, openid login, explicit login, etc. The filter is completely compatible with Struts.
Many Web applications need to execute periodic tasks. Some operating systems come with programs, like cron or at, to execute scheduled tasks. However, under some Web hosting environments these programs cannot be used. Virtual Cron provides an alternative solution that can be used in more restricted hosting environments. It uses files to keep track of the last time when a periodical task was executed. The site Web page scripts can use the class to check these files. The class can tell when it is time to execute a task again. When it is time, the same script can execute the scheduled task without depending on external programs.
Asido is an image processing solution for programs written in PHP 4 or PHP 5. It features "pluggable" drivers (adapters) for virtually any environment: either GD2, ImageMagick via shell, ImageMagick via the PHP extension, Magick Wand, or others. It offers the following functionality: resize images, watermark images, rotate imatgs, copy images, crop images, grayscale images, convert images, etc.
