webmlist is a Web mailing list archive system written in PHP intended to be used against an anonymous IMAP backend. It is very simple, and is intended to be lightweight and fast rather than full-featured, though it supports multiple folders, as well as both threaded and sorted views that are dynamically generated from the message store.
werkmail is a browser-based mail client written in php. It handles imap and pop3 mail servers. It supports attachment sending and viewing, cc and bcc fields, replying, forwarding and deleting mail. It is not necessary that the host serving werkmail and the computer the mailbox is located on are the same machine. The user can connect to werkmail (and to his mailbox) from every computer in the world that has an internet connection and a web browser.
weta-dfs is a distributed file system. It is designed to be fail-safe through replications of files, fast and easy to install, platform independent, and to have fast recovery from crashes. It consists of Data Node Servers and one Meta Data Server and a java.io.File-like client API.
whatsnewfm is a filter for the daily freshmeat newsletter. It shows only news items that you haven't seen before (so you don't have to read about every update of applications that you aren't interested in). You can also set up a list of "interesting" applications where you want to be informed of every update.
wshare is a simple solution to share an existing network connection from the commandline. There are two modes, master and client. The master shares an existing network connection (probably to the Internet) via an unused wireless device. The client can connect either through the operating system provided facilities or with this script in client mode.
