The Infotrope ACAP Server is an implementation of RFC2244, complete with asynchronous notification of changes, stored search results, ACLs, and data inheritance, etc. It supports TLS and SASL encryption as well as the entire base standard, plus a few optional extensions. ACAP allows applications to store configuration data in a way that is standard, fully interoperable, and easily managed by users, administrators, and technical support teams alike. Infotrope's key features include the ability to randomly crash the server without data loss, and backing up of data (even while it's being written) without losing integrity.
MckoiDDB is a distributed database system for applications that need to support low latency random access (read and write) queries on datasets that span a cluster of machines in a network. The software provides the system for managing the storage of data over the network cluster and a client API for accessing and querying the data. The MckoiDDB system can scale up or down as resources are added or removed in the network, and is flexible in how the logical data models of an application are designed and implemented. Net::Z3950::SimpleServer is a Perl module which implements the server side of the Z39.50 (information retrieval) protocol. It hides the complexity of network exchanges, packet serialization, and session handling. You are required only to implement simple callbacks to support searching and record retrieval. It is the basis of the "Zoogle" project, which is a Z39.50 gateway to the Google web index.
Arad-OneTable-Editor is a set of perl modules to manage and display a dialog for a single-table SQL query. It can verify types, and scroll between the records. The data handling is separate from the dialog class, so it is possible to write different generic dialogs for the same query. A Perl/Tk dialog and a GNU/readline (or plain text) dialog are included in the distribution.
