Xindice is an open source Native XML Database. It stores and indexes compressed XML documents in order to provide that data to a client application with very little server-side processing overhead. It also provides functionality that is unique to XML data, which can't easily be reproduced by relational databases.
Arad-OneTable-Editor is a set of perl modules to manage and display a dialog for a single-table SQL query. It can verify types, and scroll between the records. The data handling is separate from the dialog class, so it is possible to write different generic dialogs for the same query. A Perl/Tk dialog and a GNU/readline (or plain text) dialog are included in the distribution.

Basilic is a bibliography server for research laboratories. It automates and facilitates the diffusion of research publications over the Internet, automatically generating Web pages from a publication database. Index pages are also created, including a search engine with several options for results display. New publications can be added to the database in an instant.

Berkeley DB XML is a native XML database engine for use within your product. Made available as a C++ library with language bindings for Java, Perl, Python, PHP, and Tcl, it integrates directly into your application (it is not a standalone database server). It provides XQuery access into a database of document containers. XML documents are stored and indexed in their native format using Berkeley DB as the transactional database engine.
