BrickIt provides a portable Web-based registry that helps synthetic biologists to plan and organize the construction of Biobricks. Biobricks are standardized fragments of DNA (genes, switches, and more complex functional modules) that are openly and freely shared across the community of synthetic biologists (see biobricks.org. Brickit implements a database-backed Django Web server to coordinate and track the biobrick samples within a lab, institute, or local community.
Pork.Generator is a Web based tool to inspect your databases and generate Pork.dbObject based code. The generator analyzes the relations in your database by trying to match primary keys to fields of other tables. If you have created your table structure following some simple rules, this project can either create a complete CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) interface into a .zip file, or just output your complete database schema into O/R mapped objects. Pork.dbObject is an Object-Relation mapper for PHP 5 that attempts to be easy, fast, and lightweight.
Babase is a baboon data management system. It is designed to facilitate the retrieval, storage, maintenance, and analysis of the following broad data categories: group membership, social status (dominance rank), life events, sexual cycle events (including progeny), sexual cycle day-to-day status, dyadic social interactions, focal animal samples, and multi-party social interactions. Integration of other data is supported. Babase is designed for Web access.
Green Dome GNUstepWeb for Mac OS X provides a WebObjects 4.5-like environment for Mac OS X (with some support for WO5 additions). It is composed of modified versions of the standard GNUstepBaseAdditions, GDL2, and GNUstepWeb frameworks, built to run on top of Apple's Cocoa frameworks. The GNUstep frameworks have been built with Xcode as true Mac OS X frameworks. Thus, they may be used as any other framework under Mac OS X. Note that this is a standalone package that does not require or interoperate with a separate GNUstep installation/environment. It is not intended to provide a complete GNUstep environment, such as would be expected of a full GNUstep installation.
The TREE Data Server captures real-time financial data from one or several data feed services (e.g. IB TWS API), archives data in a historical database, and makes both live and archived data available to client applications. The system can be used in real-time charting, an ATS, a tick feed simulator, or any situation in which multiple clients need real-time access to the tick stream or archived tick data. In addition, the archived tick stream and tick data are available for offline data analysis and backtesting.
