The Easysoft ODBC-Access Driver is an ODBC driver that supports both the MDB (Access 2000–2003 and Office Access 2007) and ACCDB (Office Access 2007 and later) database formats. It provides read-write access to Access databases for Linux/Unix applications. You do not need to change where your database file is located, as it supports shared locations such as a Windows or Samba share. It uses Access’ locking file mechanism and prevents users from opening a database if another user has the database opened for exclusive access, again mirroring the Access front-end’s behavior for seamless integration. It supports encrypted/encoded .mdb files, which is an Access security feature that protects Access data from unauthorized viewing.
RedBeanPHP is a zero-config, easy-to-use object database for PHP and an ORM tool. It works very simply. Just create bean objects and throw them at RedBean. RedBean will analyze your objects and infer a readable, comfortable data scheme from it and create all required tables and columns on the fly. RedBean is not schemaless, it makes neat tables and columns for you, but on the fly without any configuration.
The stx::CBTreeDB is a collection of C++ classes with which read-only key-value database files can be created and read. A database efficiently maps a large number of integral fixed-length keys to opaque binary value blobs. Variable-length or duplicate keys are currently not supported. Keys are organized into a highly compact index structure, which is very similar to a B-tree and allows very fast key lookups. Both keys and values are stored in order and thus queries in a local proximity can benefit from caching effects. All applications mapping a large number of constant, integral keys to string or data blobs can benefit from this library.
Network Inventory Lookup Assistant (NILA) is a combination network inventory database and lookup tool. It is designed to be compact and easily extensible to provide a custom solution for your network. The backend is a Perl CGI script which processes requests and returns output. It uses a SQL server for its storage and retrieval. The frontend is a Perl script which queries the HTTP backend and returns results. It is intended to be simple enough that you can take full advantage of its querying and updating abilities from a console or shell script.
PGObject::Simple::Role provides an interface to the PGObject service locator for Moo and Moose Perl classes. This service locator is intended to integrate Perl objects with PostgreSQL user-defined functions, and this uses the "simple" mapping approach. Between PGObject::Simple::Rrole and PGObject::Util::DBMethod, it is possible to write fully-declarative classes in which all calculation logic is handed off to database functions.
