CUT is a unit-testing framework for C, C++, and Objective-C. Unlike other unit testing tools, CUT doesn't strive to be an SUnit clone. It automates a lot of the drudge work often encountered when using other unit testing packages for the C family of programming languages. CUT may also be used to unit-test assembly language software in some circumstances.
JMyra is a Java logging and monitoring platform. Using its own lightweight Web server you can view threads, properties, log messages, runtime statistics, MBeans, and more. The log4j API, the Apache Commons Logging API, and the java.util.logging API are supported in addition to the JMyra logging API. JMyra uses an easy Web interface for nearly all) configuration tasks. An integrated user management with fine-grained access rights protects you if you are using JMyra to monitor your server application.
Schroedinger is the combination of Apache Tomcat with a nice, clean Swing GUI. It provides an easy way to create and test JSP and Servlet Web applications. It records every JSP/HTTP activity so that every possible bug can be corrected immediately. Schroedinger can be used in personal mode, which prevents others from using its JSP Server while you develop the application. Alternatively, Schroedinger's working directory can be opened via file-sharing, so that a JSP can be copied to any computer of the JSP development team.
Kodos is a regular expression designer, tester, debugger, and validator that allows a developer to create and modify regular expressions against a test string. The intuitive interface allows the developer the ability to modify the regular expression (regex) and to see the effects against their test string in real-time.
Alleyoop is a GNOME frontend to the Valgrind memory checker. Its features include a right-click context menu to intelligently suppress errors or launch an editor on the source file, jumping to the exact line of the error condition. A searchbar at the top of the viewer can be used to limit the viewable errors to those that match the regex criteria entered. A fully functional Suppressions editor is also included.
Gubed PHP Debugger is, as the name suggests, a program that will help you debug your PHP scripts. It supports stepping through code, watching and setting the contents of variables, and normal and conditional breakpoints. No changes are needed to server software or scripts being debugged.
glibc-audit is a modified version of glibc for application developers who check their code with an automatic memory access checker such as Purify, Insure++, or valgrind. glibc-audit has been audited and cleaned up so that reports from the developer's use of a memory access checker are more likely to be interesting to the developer, with less "noise" from the C library itself. Also, the r_debug.r_brk protocol has been enhanced to co-operate with a co-resident auditor.
The Intel C++ Compiler for Linux is a full fledged C/C++ compiler and debugger suite. Its aim is to provide outstanding performance for all Intel 32-bit and 64-bit processors, while not requiring the need for porting applications from other compilers. It provides optimization technology, threaded application support, and features to take advantage of Hyper-Threading technology. It is substantially source and object code compatible with GNU C, providing fullest compatibility with GCC and G++ 3.x/4.x both in terms of code and of API. It is thereby also easy to integrate with existing development environments.
