The Google Serial Graphics Adapter BIOS, or SGABIOS, provides a means for legacy x86 software to communicate with an attached serial console as if a video card were attached. It is designed to be inserted into a BIOS as an option ROM to provide over a serial port the display and input capabilities normally handled by a VGA adapter and a keyboard, and additionally provide hooks for logging displayed characters for later collection after an operating system boots. It is designed to handle all text mode output sent to the legacy video BIOS int 10h service routine. Int 10h is the most common method for displaying characters in 16-bit legacy x86 code.
ICPLD (Internet Connection Performance Logging Daemon) is a connection monitor that sends ICMP requests to IP addresses of your choice and monitors if your machine has a working network connection. It logs failed attempts to reach the hosts, and will stamp a log as soon as a reply is received. It keeps track of when and for how long the connection was unavailable and records both total down time and each occasion of interrupted connection. It supports IPv6 and can execute a command whenever a connection goes up or down, which is useful for alerting users.
RFDUMP is a GUI to edit the "User Data Fields" on RFID tags and to test if a tag is protected against reading or writing. It implements a real life cookie on RFID tags. The tags that are supported for reading, writing, and editing are ISO 15693, ISO 14443 A, ISO 14443 B, SR176(1,2), Tag-it®, and I-Code®.
Bartlby is a network and system monitor, completely written in C, to provide a scalable framework with the ability to monitor networks of various sizes. It consists of a core daemon, several plugins, and a Web GUI (PHP extension). The core daemon checks (over active/passive TCP) services/hosts and notifies users in case of critical service conditions (mail, SMS, ICQ, and custom triggers are supported). Bartlby provides an open plugin interface to give every administrator an easy to use option to extend the plugin base, and a fully customizable GUI (written in PHP using a C extension). Nearby everything can be controlled via an XML interface.
