Its default Web user interface, based on the JSF standard, uses AJAX to create a pleasant user experience. It can also be accessed by a rich client interface through the use of Web services, for instance using the Eclipse-based Nuxeo RCP rich client platform.

DoXFS (pron. docs-eff-ess) is a document management system that uses the XFS filesystem to store both content (files) and meta-data (file attributes), bypassing the traditional architecture of filesystem and database, and leveraging the built-in advantages of XFS. Currently, it offers a Web frontend based on PHP and standard management functionality (create, delete, attributes add/delete, etc.) as well as extras such as versioning and Full Text Indexing (using Namazu).

Lophty Directory indexer is a PHP class that allows you to display a sorted listing of subdirectories and files within a directory. File sizes and last-modified timestamps are provided for all files, which are sorted alphabetically first according to extension and then by filename. You can easily specify subdirectories and files to exclude from the listing. It offers a great degree of flexibility over which files are listed. Subdirectories can also be excluded from listing altogether.
