ScrollMe is a smooth scroller for Web sites. It can be used to display site updates, news, and other important information. You can easily adjust the scroll speed, direction, window size, and other attributes via the included configuration file. Images and other multimedia elements can also be added.
BetaAPP is a community portal and content management system written in Perl. It includes forums, a links directory, a downloads directory, articles, a gallery, handheld format, an XML feed, profiles, instant messaging, and more. It is based on the old WebAPP (Web Automated Perl Portal) system. It features ongoing updates with download of newest or all files from the CVS tree. Version is set as the date at time of download.
CoASTaL allows users to enter their own computer support tickets, and to add actions after to keep IT up to date. Admins can manage tickets, add actions, assign hardware to people, and assign software licenses to computers (since its installed on computers, not people). It also has a Library for keeping track of projectors, cameras, and laptops (for example). It has been in use for 5 years prior to release.
PHP Template Inheritance consists of a handful of functions which allow child templates to inherit common structure from base templates. Multiple levels of inheritance are possible. The inspiration for this project was Django's template inheritance mechanism. Templates are PHP files too, so you can do (almost) whatever you want in them.
