spim is a self-contained software simulator for running R2000/R3000 assembly language programs. It reads and can immediately execute files containing assembly language code. spim also provides a debugger and simple set of operating system services. spim provides both a simple, textual interface and a fancier, graphical interface. The package includes complete source code and documentation.
stardict-ed is a fork of StarDict (a cross-platform and international dictionary). It can be compiled with or without GNOME libraries (in the second case, it requires only GTK+). Another difference from stardict is that it uses libstardict for access to dictionaries, so it works a little faster.
Statist is a statistics program with an interactive menu that makes it very easy to use. It can also be run in scripts, and large data sets are handled reasonably well even on small machines. In spite of its low overhead, it can do quite a few regression functions and tests. It can produce colorized output, and uses gnuplot to create graphics.
Swac Tools is a set of programs that allows you to get the most of the words audio collections (SWAC) that are provided by the Shtooka Project. At the moment, there are two programs: swac-get, which enables the loading into a SQLite3 database of audio collections, and swac-explore, which allows you to browse the database and listen to audio files.
