Pride combines bash scripts, zenity, ant, ImageMagick, and the Android tools to create a fast and simple POSIX alternative for Android development. It provides all the basic commands (clean, build, release, etc.) of other Android IDEs. But it is primarily a robust and simple injection framework. Injections from methods to clusters of activities are easily created from existing code and can then be injected into any project. Pride can also be used to batch build, load, or release multiple projects and can update class and resource files among projects that use the same objects or resources.
Atmail is a fully-featured email server and Webmail client, allowing users to send and receive email via a Web browser or mobile device. It has full support for IMAP mailboxes, and an optional email-server mode that uses EXIM as the MTA. Features include a scheduler, MySQL backend support, spell-check, address book, calendar user preferences, multiple accounts, SpamAssassin support, migration scripts from other mail servers, a customizable interface, an attractive AJAX interface, an optional group sharing Calendar/Addressbook, and an Outlook plugin to sync Contacts/Tasks/Calendar data between a Desktop, Mobile, and Webmail client or other email users.
jZebra is a Java applet which allows you to print barcodes, receipts, and more from a Web page to your industry printer. It sends raw print commands and basic HTML and PDFs to your raw, PostScript, or LaserJet printer. It has been tested with Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Opera. It supports parallel, serial, USB, and network printers.
HTTP Bench is a small program to benchmark HTTP servers. This is the current feature set: iterating over a list of URLs; measuring response times and calculating min, max, and average values; measuring TCP/HTTP errors; multi-threaded operation for concurrent connections (using pthreads); setting an upper limit of requests per second; and validation of response strings. The source code is very simple.
phalanx computes a digest of many buffers simultaneously, and produces a combined hash of them all. It is an initiative to provide a fast, simple, and portable alternative method to compute a checksum in a parallel fashion. It has options for I/O buffer size, hash width, number of threads, and more. It can be run single-threadedly for performance comparisons. It can check files against previously-saved sums, like "MD5sum" does. It also has a "demo" mode, to ascertain accurate operation. It is intended to be useful on large files and multicore/multiprocessor/multithreaded environments.
Fairmount mounts the contents of a video DVD on a Mac OS X machine as though it were normal filesystem. It is so named because it enables fair use of the content. It does not itself supply DVD reading code, but instead requires that a DVD library from videolan.org be installed separately. Fairmount was originally developed by Metakine and released under the GPL, but they have ceased to develop or distribute it. This version is a fork of their original code.
