QP Active Object Frameworks is a family of event-driven, RTOS-like, active object frameworks for microcontrollers. The QP frameworks provide thread-safe execution of active objects (concurrent state machines) and support both manual and automatic coding of UML statecharts in readable, production-quality C or C++. Automatic code generation of QP code is supported by the free QM modeling tool. The QP family consists of QP/C, QP/C++, and QP-nano frameworks, which are all professionally developed, strictly quality controlled, well documented, MISRA-compliant, and commercially licensable. All QP frameworks can run on "bare metal", completely replacing a traditional RTOS. Ports and ready-to-use examples are provided for Cortex-M3, Cortex-M4, Cortex-M0, RX600, MSP430, C28x, C55x, AVR, ARM7, ARM9, ColdFire, PIC24, dsPIC, M16C/R8C, H8, HC08, 8051, Arduino, and mbed. QP/C and QP/C++ can also work with a traditional (RT)OS such as POSIX (Linux, QNX), Windows, VxWorks, ThreadX, uC/OS, or FreeRTOS.
OFXKit is an Objective-C framework for parsing OFX files into a class hierarchy. Since OFXKit is a native Cocoa framework, Mac OS X development technologies can be easily used with OFXKit. Its main features include OFX 1.x and 2.x support, banking, loan, and investment message sets, and creation of OFX request documents for the "Direct-Connect" feature of many banking Web sites.
PHP On Pie is a PHP framework that combines the best ideas from PHP projects like Drupal, CodeIgniter, Kohana, and ZendFramework. It has very few core concepts: classes, models, events, slots, and tools. It lets you repackage completed apps into plugins that you or others can use later. Its smart database classes allow you to implement vertical and horizontal partitioning (sharding) easily to handle millions of users.
GriF is a collaborative grid framework to support computational chemistry applications. It is meant to be used as a tool to facilitate massive grid calculations and also to improve scientific collaboration. Accordingly, GriF facilitates profiling the users of grid communities in order to systematically evaluate the work carried out in a grid and to foster its sustainability.
astateful is a unique approach to Web development. It incorporates a solid theoretical foundation based on Dynamic Programming in which a Web site is programmed in such in a way that it can be "solved" using a 'top down' or 'bottom up' approach. It is very scalable. Caching and encryption are included by default. It has a steep learning curve.
TurnKey Symfony Appliance is a server appliance for Symfony, a PHP Web application framework that follows the MVC paradigm. It provides an architecture, components, and tools for developers to build complex Web applications faster by minimizing repetitive coding tasks. It is designed to be easy to use and easy to maintain. Security patches are automatically installed. It provides a Web management interface, configuration console, and an AJAX Web shell. To minimize footprint the appliance is built from the ground up with the minimum required components. It runs everywhere thanks to multiple build formats, including an installable live CD, a VMDK with OVF support, and an Amazon EC2 AMI.
