It supports a very large subset of Xplain, and it can convert from Xplain to Microsoft SQL Server, DB/2, Inprise InterBase, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL 5, SQLite 3 or ANSI-92 SQL. It can also generate an XML description of the generated SQL. This XML description can be used to create low-level middle-tier code. Example stylesheets for Eiffel/ECLI and Delphi/ADO are included. The C source code release should compile on any platform with an ANSI C compiler. There are binary releases for FreeBSD, Linux, Solaris x86, and Windows 2000.

Process selection can be made per user, all users or through a regular expression pattern. A process can be selected to show ps information or to send the process a signal.

XScoop provides the ability to quickly determine which underlying X libraries were statically linked into an application, even when the source is not available. XScoop parses an executable, looking for matches on a subset of sample keywords that may identify the library being used. It does not produce absolute results, and instead supplies a report with key-hits which represent the likelihood that a particular library is present in the binary.

yuck is a command line option parser for C that works on a minimal set of dependencies - only a C compiler and the m4 macro processor are required. It supports all the standard use cases: GNU-style long options (--option), condensable short options (-xab for -x -a -b), and optional arguments to long and short options (--foo[=BAR]), multiple occurrence of options (-vvv).
