RPGRobotAlive is an aide to a role playing games. It displays a board with walls and representations of the players that you can move around the dungeon. You can also place treasure or monsters in the dungeon. The program only keeps track of the locations of things, so you have to apply the rules of the game yourself to determine what happens in an encounter between the players and the contents of the dungeon. This software is generic and can be helpful with many different kinds of role playing games.
WarTactical is a wargame in which each screen pixel corresponds to 10 feet of ground area, instead of splitting the field into hexagons. You can play a game against the computer or play a simple random setup. Dice are rolled when you attack, and this result is added to modifiers that are derived from the situation, such as whether the unit is pinned or how much armor it has, as well as what terrain it's on. You need to stay in contact with your HQ (leader) to move far. WW2 (or Modern) units like artillery, infantry, LMGs, paratroopers, cars, and HQ (leaders) are available. Modules are being developed to represent different time periods of war.
Construder is a 3D game featuring a dynamic infinite world of cubes to explore and change. In an artificial infinite structure, the player has to gather resources for construction purposes and for basic survival. Its 3D engine and basic game play are inspired by Minecraft and Infiniminer. The goal is to get 10,000,000 score points and get the "Construder" rank. Dangers the player might run into are starvation, as all actions require biological energy, and the randomly appearing robot drones that teleport the player far away. The game is feature complete and ready to play.
Digbuild is a game that provides a randomized, voxel-based world for the player to explore. In this regard, it’s very similar to Minecraft. You can create and destroy blocks, and thus you can build castles and any other structures that spring to mind. Digbuild has several improvements over Minecraft. The world has infinite height, so you can build structures as tall as you like. Different blocks emit different colors of light, and colored glass blocks filter the light that flows through them. Materials can be translucent. Textures can be bump-mapped and specular-mapped, so glass is shiny and rocks are rough.
Liquid War 6 is an original multiplayer wargame. You have to control an army formed with thousands of pixels that look like liquid, and try and eat your opponent. This is a total rewrite of the (now quite old) Liquid War 5 version. It's still in beta stage, with many imperfections and no network play but it's playable now.
