Photini is a GUI program to create and edit metadata for digital photographs. It can set textual information such as title, description, and copyright as well as geolocation information by browsing a map or setting coordinates directly. It reads metadata in EXIF, IPTC, or XMP format and writes it to all three to maximize compatibility with other software.
openDCIM is a Web-based data center inventory application which allows you to manage capacity and track assets throughout multiple data centers. There are some graphical elements to the system, but overall, the system is designed for keyboard-friendly (rather than click-happy) use. It is written in PHP and utilizes a MySQL backend for ease of deployment on nearly any LAMP-based build.

Corlpack is a faster Ada implementation of the basic types from the R Language. It includes calculations with units of measurement, a broad range of other basic types such as urn-like identifiers, coordinate, and monetary amounts. Basic types are represented as 128-bit UUIDs so heterogenous arrays, without predesigned structure, can be easily built. Heap allocation for complex structures is minimized, hopefully resulting in much shorter and more predictable execution time. An API with a small number of generic functions aims to simplify Ada programming for computational applications, especially for scientists from non-IT fields.
wave-player is a remotely-controllable music player (frontend) connecting via HTTP calls to a music database (backend). It allows music to be controlled and streamed via HTTP so you can hear your music at work or anywhere else. The frontend is based on QT4 and the backend uses via Perl/MySQL. The API is open and REST-based.
DKPro Core is a collection of software components for natural language processing (NLP) based on the Apache UIMA framework. Many powerful and state-of-the-art NLP components are already freely available in the NLP research community. New and improved components are being developed and released continuously. The components cover the whole range of NLP-related processing tasks. DKPro Core provides wrappers for such third-party tool as well as original NLP components. DKPro Core builds heavily on uimaFIT which allows for rapid and easy development of NLP processing pipelines.
