Hashrat is a hash-generation utility that supports the MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, Whirlpool, JH-224, JH-256, JH-384, and JH-512 hash functions, and also the HMAC versions of those functions. It can output in 'traditional' format (same as md5sum and shasum and the like), or its own format. Hashes can be output in octal, decimal, hexadecimal, uppercase hexadecimal, or base64. It supports directory recursion, hashing entire devices, and generating a hash for an entire directory. It has a 'CGI' mode that can be used as a Web page to lookup hashes.
nan_payload is an Ada package that provides support for using the NaN payload field from IEEE-754 floating point. Storing 'non-available' errors as well as other symbolic values instead of any of the numbers in numeric arrays is necessary in many statistical applications. The package allows you to read and write the part of NaN IEEE754-64 bit values known as 'the payload', which is 51 bits long, and also to treat the long_float type as an implicit tagged type by storing tags and values in the payload. Calendar dates with ms resolution as well as 9-letter symbols and some not available/error codes are provided as subtypes. Formatted output with Fortran-like descriptors as well as reading values from strings for these types is also provided.
MyNotex is software for taking notes, filing documents, and managing activities. Notes are gathered under different subjects and consist of a title, a date, a tag (keywords) list, and a free-length text. It is possible to change the font, style, color and background color, and to embed pictures. The software can manage paragraph alignment, bullets, and numbered and alphabetic lists with automatic indentation. Each note may have any number of attachments of any type, and there is also a spreadsheet-like grid for managing a list of activities, which is quite similar to those used in project management software. A single MyNotex file contains various notes filed in different subjects.
Hypersocket is a cross-platform Hybrid SSL VPN solution built for all types of remote access scenarios. Powerful, yet simple to use, Hypersocket uses a single installed client to provide access to any number of network resources. Its powerful granular access means you can have fine-grained control over your entire network and remote users. Accessed through a secure HTTPS port, the Hypersocket client provides access to any number of host/port combinations, all assigned server-side by the Administrator through roles. The Administrator is able to configure the server through a Web portal on the same HTTPS port.
Ostinato is a network packet and traffic generator and analyzer with a friendly GUI. It aims to be "Wireshark in Reverse" and thus become complementary to Wireshark. It features custom packet crafting with editing of any field for several protocols: Ethernet, 802.3, LLC SNAP, VLAN (with Q-in-Q), ARP, IPv4, IPv6, IP-in-IP a.k.a IP Tunneling, TCP, UDP, ICMPv4, ICMPv6, IGMP, MLD, HTTP, SIP, RTSP, NNTP, etc. It is useful for both functional and performance testing.
