Ivf++ (Interactive Visualization Framework) is a simple OpenGL/GLUT-based C++ visualization framework. Its main goal is to create a foundation of classes that can be extended in simple ways. It also encapsulates the GLUT event model in a set of easy-to-use classes (based on the GlutMaster classes), so a simple GUI can be built quickly. It can be used together with other GUI libraries using provided widgets.
Raja (RAy tracer in JAva) is a complete, object oriented ray tracer written in Java. It fully supports transparency, intersection, union, complement, mirroring, basic anti-aliasing, and exact acne correction. We aim to do a complete, easy to use and distributed renderer to do images or movies over a network of heterogeneous computers.
Verse is a network protocol and client/server application architecture for multiuser realtime distributed 3D graphics applications. It uses a lightweight server to store world data, and then relies on clients to connect and use the data in various ways. Verse uses subdivision surfaces as its single geometric primitive, which both conserves bandwidth and allows very good scalability and visual quality on modern 3D hardware.
DAPACT (Data Aware Processing And Control Tags) is a set of JSP tags for simplifying the display of dynamic content in JSP pages. It focuses on retrieving data to be displayed, iterating over that data, and in providing control tags for changing what is displayed. (Though the initial 0.2 release does not have the control tags yet.)
dnacgr is a program to visualise patterns in DNA and RNA by using Chaos Game representation. It shows the probability of bases and sequences, and can read .fasta and .seq format files. dnacgr can be used for genome analysis, and it reads millions of bases from files in seconds. It runs on the console, and requires SVGAlib. It prints to a file in PNG format.
libservices is a simple library to access and edit /etc/services. While editing, it allows you to add, remove, and change services preserving existent file proprieties (comments, blank lines, etc). While accessing information, it allows you to access usual information and comments. A command line utility is also provided, making /etc/services easily accessible through shell scripts. It's mainly useful for configurators and package pre/post installation scripts.
