SmartPool is a connection pooling component that is modeled on connection pooling features provided by application servers. It makes an attempt to solve critical issues like connection leaks, connection blocking, and open JDBC objects (such as Statements and PreparedStatements). It features support for multiple pools, automatic closing of associated JDBC objects, detection of connection leaks based on configurable timeouts, connection usage tracking, and monitoring of the run-time status of pools.
GobbleRSS is a Web-based RSS reader inspired from the previous version of Google Reader. It was developed as an alternative to Google Reader for people who need to access their RSS articles from home or work, but with the ability to download unread articles to a PDA. Since Google Reader doesn't yet have a public API that would allow a PDA to grab the latest unread articles, GobbleRSS was developed to allow PDA sync applications to download a single Web page that contains a certain number of unread articles. You can then read those articles on the go.
Reasonable Python is a Python module which adds logic programming constructs borrowed from F-Logic. It's build upon the Flora-2 and XSB engines and uses ZODB for permanent knowledgebase storage. Usage possibilities include knowledge bases, ontology management and semantic web applications.
Fosstrak is an RFID software platform that implements the EPC Network specifications. It provides an EPCIS repository (as well as a GUI client to access EPCIS repositories), an ALE-compliant middleware, a library to translate EPC identifiers according to the TDT, and an Eclipse plugin that lets you interactively compose LLRP messages, sends them to RFID readers, and helps you to interpret the reader's reply.
FaCiLe is a constraint programming library over integer finite domain written in OCaml. It offers all usual facilities to create and manipulate finite domain variables, arithmetic expressions and constraints (possibly non-linear), built-in global constraints, and search goals. It also allows you to build easily user-defined constraints and goals (including recursive ones), making pervasive use of OCaml higher-order functionals to provide a simple and flexible interface for the user.
ID3v2 Chapter Tool is an authoring tool which allows you to signal the start and end times of particular sequences within an audio file, rather like the chapters within a book. The information is embedded within audio files using an extension to the ID3v2 specification called "Chapter Frames".
This package can be used to emulate class namespaces under PHP 5. It parses PHP code to extract namespace definition statements. The code is rewritten to emulate the namespace support in a way similar to the Java language supports namespaces. This package implements new commands named package and import. The package command defines the package to which a class belongs. The import command indicates that the package should be imported for use in the PHP script on which the import command is used.
