CsvJdbc is a read-only JDBC driver that uses Comma Separated Value (CSV) files or DBF files as database tables. It is ideal for writing data import programs or analyzing log files. The driver enables you to access a directory or a ZIP file containing CSV or DBF files as if it were a database containing tables. As there is no real database management system behind the scenes, not all JDBC functionality is available.
The ArakhnÍ.org Foundation Classes (AFC) is a collection of Java libraries (based on Maven) that provides a collection of utilities that are not provided in the standard Java API. Many utility classes are provided: file filters, progress indicators, arrays, collections, VM utilities, text utilities, math tools (point, vector, matrix, shape, etc.), widgets for AWT, Swing, and Android, a platform-independent graphical API, and more.
ApPHP Restaurant Site is restaurant menu website and site management online system for restaurant or food-related services. It lets you add, update, and maintain the dishes, prices, and details, and sort them as you want. You can create as many menus, categories, and menu items as you need.
The X3D library is used to load an X3D file and render it using OpenGL (an X3D file is an XML file describing a 3D environment that can be rendered with OpenGL.) The library supports all the objects as defined in the X3D specification in 2006. The render library is still somewhat limited, though. It works well under Linux. It is likely to work on any Unix, and has worked under MS Windows before. The project includes a test that makes use of FLTK version 2.0-m3. That version of FLTK can be downloaded from the project repository, as FLTK itself actually ended up not publishing a concrete 2.0 version of the library.
SparkleDroid is a lightweight Android SPARQL client library for performing SPARQL queries against remote SPARQL servers using HTTP. The raison d'Ítre for this library is to provide a lightweight Android library for developing SPARQL client applications. It proved difficult to extract the client-only code from Jena or Sesame, and compiling the entire Jena or Sesame codebase for Android results in somewhat heavy jars. The SparkleDroidLib library also provides a mobile device-friendly async interface using Android handlers for communication between the library and user applications, with optional output to SQLite database tables.
Sincerity is a tool for installing and bootstrapping software stacks on top of the JVM. It makes these otherwise tedious tasks easy, simple, and fun. Your Sincerity containers are straightforward development playgrounds. Simply create a new container when you want to try out a new approach. Delete the directory when done, and it's as if nothing ever happened. Sincerity's growing ecology of plugins makes it especially easy to add powerful features to your product, such as centralized logging and robust daemons with surprisingly minimal fuss.
GFXprim is a modular 2D bitmap graphics library. The library is organized into modules, each of which implements different functionality. The library core is the glue that holds everything together by implementing pixel manipulations, conversions, and blits. Loaders implements an interface to load and save images from/to various image formats. All commonly used formats are supported (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, PNM, etc.). Filters implements bitmap filters such as resize, convolutions, point filters (brightness, contrast, etc.), rotations, edge sharpening, ditherings, median, etc. Backends can create X11 window(s), draw on the Linux framebuffer, handle input events, timers and more. Gfx implements basic graphics primitives such as lines, circles, polygons, etc. Text module implements text drawing with both compiled-in fonts and basic support for FreeType rendering. Grabbers can get frames from V4L2 devices, such as Web cameras. All of this comes with Python bindings and comprehensive documentation.
