Video Contact Sheet *NIX creates a contact sheet (preview) from videos by taking still captures distributed over the length of the video. The output image contains useful information on the video such as codecs, file size, screen size, frame rate, and length. It requires MPlayer or FFmpeg and ImageMagick. It is confirmed to work on Linux and FreeBSD, and possibly other POSIX/UNIX systems.
Racket (formerly PLT Scheme) is a programming language suitable for implementation tasks ranging from scripting to application development, including GUIs, Web services, etc. It includes the DrRacket programming environment, a virtual machine with a just-in-time compiler, tools for creating stand-alone executables, the Racket Web server, extensive libraries, documentation for both beginners and experts, and more. It supports the creation of new programming languages through a rich, expressive syntax system. Example languages include Typed Racket, ACL2, FrTime, and Lazy Racket.
Dialog allows you to present a variety of questions or display messages using dialog boxes from a shell script. Several types of dialog boxes are implemented including: calendar, checklist, file-selection, gauge, info, input, menu, message, radiolist, tailbox, text, time, yes/no.
TinyButStrong is a template class for PHP that allows you to generate XML/HTML pages and any other files based on text source. The engine gives facilities to work with any databases, including in native PDO, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, PHP arrays, and more. It is possible to design templates using any visual editor (like Dreamweaver or FrontPage), and thus to make templates that are compatible with W3C standards for example. It features simple block management, useful display formats, conditional displaying for blocks and locators, remote XML/HTML attribute modification, a cache system, and the ability to include sub-templates and execute associated scripts. Plug-ins are supported since version 3.0.
Marvin is an extensible image processing framework for Java. It provides features to manipulate images, to manipulate captured video frames, and to process images with multi-threading. Its features can be extended via plug-ins. Plug-ins can be integrated with the graphical user interface, and their plug-in performance can be analyzed. Every image processing algorithm is developed as a plug-in that can be plugged into the MarvinEditor, an image manipulation program that uses plug-ins developed using Marvin, or into third-party applications. Currently there are 55 plug-ins available.
