HeeksCNC is a CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) add-on module for HeeksCAD. The user can add machining operations. These can then be output to NC code. The NC code is then shown as red and green lines on the screen. The NC code is generated using Python script, so it can be configured for different machines. HeeksCNC uses pycam for the "Zig Zag" operation, libarea for the "Pocket" operation, and libactp for the "Adaptive Roughing" operation.
Z88 is a fast, powerful, and compact finite elements analysis program. Z88 features 20 finite element types; it covers plane stress, plate bending, axial symmetric structures, and spacial structures up to 20-node Serendipity hexahedrons. It comes with a user-friendly interface (the Z88 Commander), and has a powerful mesh generator. It features a DXF coverter and two plot programs. The FEA solver is included, featuring an in-situ Cholesky solver along with the Jennings storage method. COSMOS and NASTRAN files from Pro/ENGINEER can be imported. Z88 is a project of the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
Brace is a dialect of C that looks like Python. It has coroutines, hygenic macros, header generation, and libraries with graphics and sound. It is meant to be good for beginners, kids, and experts. Brace is translated to C, then compiled, with #! support and cached executables. It is fairly portable, and runs on GNU/Linux, Unix, and Windows with MinGW. It should also run on Mac OS X. It comes with a lot of demo programs, many with animated graphics.
DelVJ is a live video mixer VJing program for realtime video 3D composition and algorithmic video remixing of multiple sources such as multitrack video inputs from Firewire cameras, video media files, Puredata video channels, images, and text and RSS news feeds. It can send these sources to multiple outputs such as recording to hard disk and streaming to the Internet, local net, and screens. DelVJ can be controlled through OSC, and has interfaces for the Web and GTK. DelVJ allows multiple users to work on collaborative live video mixing projects for events, live broadcasts, artistic displays, and lighting effects. DelVJ aims for the flexibility and convenience needed for Pixel fests of many kinds.
Chart::Clicker aims to be a powerful, extensible charting Perl package that creates really pretty output. Charts can be saved in PNG, SVG, PDF, and PostScript format. Clicker leverages the power of Graphics::Primitive to create snazzy graphics without being tied to a specific backend.
