jWordConvert is a Java library which can read and render Word documents natively to convert to PDF, to convert to images, or to print the documents automatically. The library is 100% Java, so it can run on any platform which supports Java. It does not use any third party software or native calls, and can be run in a server environment or integrated into a desktop application.
Light source is an object which can apply a shadow to page elements based on the position of a light. It takes the identifier of a page element and changes its CSS atttributes which define shadow parameters depending on the position of a light source relative to the target element and its children elements. The shadow can be generated either with the shape of the text elements or the whole box of the target element.
Image Selector previews images defined in select input options. It can take as a parameter the identifier of a form select input element which has options set to the URLs of images to be picked by the user. The object can display the currently-selected image inside a preview page element. The object can also change the currently-selected image to move to the next, previous, first, last, or to any of the images in the list.
FF Multi Converter is a simple graphical application that converts audio, video, image, and document files between all popular formats, using and combining other programs. It uses ffmpeg for audio/video files, unoconv for document files, and the ImageMagick library for image file conversions.
image-deduplication-tool is a script designed to scan specified paths and calculate the DCT hashes of all the images there. It compares the hashes to find closest-looking image pairs, despite various alternations (such as crop, rotation, gamma/color correction, noise, etc.), optionally presenting them in a feh image viewer for the operator to easily compare and remove one of the versions. It uses libpHash to produce and compare perceptual hashes.
Urban Lightscape is a photo filter for exposure correction, localized brightness adjustments, dodging and burning, and the introduction of synthetic lighting to a photo. A simple "double-click-and-drag" paradigm is used to place control points on a photo, and clever edge detection localises and interpolates lightness adjustments around and between these points. Results are rapid, with additional controls for more subtle refinements.
