Dragon Lair is a knowledge base system based on Topic Maps Technology. Data Elements are represented as topics and subjects and put into relationships with each other. Since these relations are data independent, Dragon Lair can be put on top of an existing database or be used as a graphical representation of a new data source. Dragon Lair "sits" directly upon the Dragon Breath framework for reliable and easy data manipulation, sanity check, and data exchange.
Comment is a command line directory context note taker. Notes are stored in both the local directory and each users home. It was developed as a low impact tool for retaining flyaway information that is often needed at a later date. The dual storage system provides convenient access to prior notes, and all notes are stored in plain-text format.
CuteSITE is an object oriented Web Content Management System for small- and medium-sized Web sites. With it, all Web sites consist of a number of objects and components. Objects can be folders, images, templates, strings, or custom organized objects (containers). The template language uses a common PHP script, and is highly efficient.
OpenConf is an open source conference management system under active development that facilitates the electronic submission, review, and advocacy of papers, along with management of the whole process by the Program Chair. OpenConf is written in PHP and uses the MySQL database system, providing for ease of portability across platforms and low resource requirements. Although targeted towards technical conferences, OpenConf can also be easily adapted for other types of conferences, workshops, and symposia.
IDEA is an architecture for implementing a distributed intrusion detection system on a computer network. It provides a way to incorporate many different IDS sensors into an architecture, and have them report to a central IDS server. This server collects, aggregates, and correlates data from the sensors, providing a unified view of network activity. By specifying an open API, many different clients can connect to the IDEA server and "subscribe" to the event notification service so that the client will be notified any time a new alert is received from any of the sensors.
