Tasky (the task husky) is groupware tool to keep track of all those little but important tasks in your workgroup that always keep the whole project late. You can create tasks and sub-tasks, assign them to other workers, and set deadlines. Tasks must be accepted (or rejected with a reason) by the assigned worker, and deadlines can be set. Each task or worker may be assigned uploaded resource files like reports, etc. It is a Web application that can be included in your Tomcat servlet engine or run stand-alone with nextwebstep webbase.
Nariva is an application which aims to provide cross- platform, open API search functionality targeted at desktops. It uses Apache Lucene to perform the indexing and searching functionality and also exposes the Apache Lucene API as an XML-RPC service (provided using Apache XML- RPC). Files on the local file system are monitored using a sandbox component called Commons Virtual Filesystem (VFS). Nariva ties all these projects together to provide a simple, fast, cross platform, desktop search solution.
