mDNS Responder with Unicast runs on a server anywhere in a network and responds to mDNS queries across the network by performing a unicast DNS lookup and returning the result. Many networks use a .local top-level domain for their intranet. This has proven to be quite problematic as operating systems such as OS X have begun handling .local domains differently (in particular, prioritizing multicast DNS over conventional unicast DNS). Ideally, you'd have no problems moving away from a .local domain name, or simply not using one in the first place. That's not always possible, though. So with this tool, a lookup for "host.local" will be resolved via your existing unicast DNS servers, even if "host" does not have its own mDNS responder. Of course, the tool isn't limited to just .local domains, and can realistically work on any network where mDNS is in use.
wwan-helper is a script that establishes a UMTS connection using a Ericsson F3507g Mobile Broadband Module. It was designed to be used with a ThinkPad T420s. It takes care of resetting and reinitializing the modem if the hardware fails to get a WWAN connection, and retries as often as necessary until the UMTS connection is really established. It is meant to run as a hook script for the ifup / ifdown mechanism, but should also work on other networking systems.
oed2dict is a set of scripts that convert the full Oxford English Dictionary v2 (CD-ROM version 3.0) into the jargon and DICT file formats. These can then be consulted with any DICT compatible dictionary lookup program. The resulting DICT files are much faster to use when compared with the proprietary program from the original distribution, and are significantly smaller, with the whole database only weighing around 190MiB.
CryptSharp provides a number of password crypt algorithms: BCrypt, MD5 (and Apache's htpasswd variant), PHPass (WordPress, phpBB, Drupal), SHA256, SHA512, and Traditional and Extended DES. It also includes Blowfish, SCrypt, and PBKDF2 for any HMAC (.NET's built-in PBKDF2 implementation supports only SHA-1). If you are looking to store passwords, odds are CryptSharp will have the algorithm you want.
ENet for C# wraps the C-language ENet networking library. For games and other realtime applications, if you use TCP, old data can hold up newer data, even if it is no longer relevant (old positions, etc.). Your players will perceive any lost packet as a "lag burst". ENet supports multiple in-order streams of data, and allows you to decide on reliability on a per-packet basis. The library is useful for both client-server and peer-to-peer architectures.
