ITISSL is a Java/JNI implementation of Sun's SSL Reference API. It is based on SSLeay or its successor OpenSSL. It requires Java 2 and has been tested on Linux, Solaris and WinNT. ITISSL comes with ready-to-use RMI classes, tools for secure RMI as well as a hotjava-wrapper (called shotjava) for using hotjava with strong crypto. ITISSL is distributed as source (no special linux-packages).
FreeMarker is a template engine that was originally designed so that servlet-based applications could keep graphical design separate from application logic. The templates provide an easy and highly flexible way to generate any kind of text output (HTML, PostScript, TeX, source code, etc.) from a variety of data sources such as Java objects, Jython objects, XML object models, and more.
BlueJ is an interactive Java development environment. It provides a unique user interface that presents a graphical display of the application classes and their relationships, and it lets users interactively create objects of any class. Once objects have been created, users can interact with them directly. This interaction mechanism allows for much greater testing and experimentation than in conventional environments. BlueJ is suited for teaching and learning OO and Java.
MindTerm is a complete ssh-client in pure Java. It can be used either as a standalone Java application or as a Java applet. Three packages of importance are provided (terminal, ssh, and security). The terminal package is a rather complete vt102/xterm-terminal, and the ssh-package contains the ssh- protocol and also "drop-in" socket replacements to use ssh-tunnels transparently from a Java application/applet. It also contains functionality to realize a ssh-server. Finally, the security package contains RSA, DES, 3DES, Blowfish, IDEA, and RC4 ciphers.
