BLAG is a single-CD Linux distribution that has a suite of graphics, Internet, audio, video, office, and peer-to-peer file sharing applications. It is based on Fedora Core, Dag, Freshrpms, etc. It is up-to-date with all Fedora errata updates at the time of release, and uses apt/synaptic for easy upgrades and installation of new applications.
PLD Live CD is a bootable CD that contains a live Linux distribution based on the PLD Linux distribution. It uses squashfs transparent compression to fit huge amount of packages on a single CD, including OpenOffice, KDE, Gnome, WindowMaker, XFCE, and many more. It also includes a set of scripts for detecting hardware such SCSI, IDE, monitors, and sound, graphic, and network cards. It also supports 'profiles' that let you store your settings on a floppy.
The Syllable project creates a family of operating systems that form a network platform. Syllable Desktop is a complete desktop operating system that is exceptionally powerful, fast, and easy to use. It has its own kernel, filesystem, GUI, and applications. Syllable Desktop is based on AtheOS, is largely POSIX.1 compliant, and uses many of the GNU utilities. Syllable Server is a server operating system built to be similar to Syllable Desktop, but on the Linux kernel.
