EditiX Lite is a powerful and easy to use XML editor, visual schema editor and XSLT debugger. It is designed to help Web authors and application programmers take advantage of the latest XML and XML-related technologies such as XSLT/FO, DocBook, and XSD Schema. It has real-time XPath location and syntax error detection, context syntax popups supporting DTD, Schema, and RelaxNG, and support for multiple templates and project management.
uWiki is a minimalistic wiki engine. All actions are implemented in external scripts. These scripts are wikified, and thus the wiki is extensible by itself. All dynamic access is protected through ACLs. Wiki content and Web content can be mixed in the same directory hierarchy. Markup engines and revision control are plugin-able. Currently, asciidoc as the markup engine and git as the revision control backend are provided. Subdirectories can form independent sub-wikis with own revision control. Features like distributed pages that syncronize between wikis, spam protection, and batch jobs to schedule mirroring of other content (bittorrent, git, rsync, and wget) are in planning.
SimpleXML for PHP 4 is a class that can be used to load XML documents under PHP 4 like the PHP 5 SimpleXML extension. It can load and parse a XML document file like the simple_xml_load function. The class reorganizes the parsed document nodes to return a document structure identical to the result of the simple_load_file function.
Steev's HTML Parser is an HTML parsing library that builds a complete hierarchy for each element and attribute in the supplied HTML file. Each element is its own C++ class, replete with child nodes, allowing for full control and processing. An 'HTML beautifier' example is included.
urlwatch is a script intended to help you watch URLs and get notified (via email) of any changes. The change notification will include the URL that has changed and a unified diff of what has changed. The script works out of a single directory, so there is no need to install anything. State files are kept in the same folder. The script supports stripping parts of a page that are always changing through the use of a filter hook function. It is typically run as a cronjob.
XHTML Hyphenator is a filter for XHTML documents that will insert soft hyphens at the proper hyphenation points. It will hyphenate all words in text nodes that are children of nodes in the XHTML namespace and not part of the header (or, long story short, the text part of an XHTML document and nothing else). The hyphenation pattern used is derived from the xml:lang attribute governing the text. Soft hyphens are displayed correctly by most modern browsers and not at all by Mozilla Firefox, so you won't break anything by inserting hyphens, and it improves the text appearance considerably.
xml-test checks that an XML document is included in another document. It is handy when testing an application's output against a document where element order is different (GData and Atom are examples of specifications where element order is unimportant). It has a relaxed notion of containment: element order is ignored, whitespace is trimmed, comments are ignored, specific elements can be ignored by passing XPath-like paths on the command line, and text nodes (element and attribute content) can be ignored by passing '-notext' on the command line.
