CElect is a console-based tool for determining a social preference ordering, such as an elected candidate or choice in a single-winner election, or the preferred composition of a multi-member council, based on a list of individual preference orderings (ballots) over the candidates or choices. It can also calculate the winner and social ordering when given a Condorcet matrix and list of candidates, though it is in that case limited to Condorcet methods. Of single-winner methods, it supports Dodgson, Simpson, Tideman/wv, first and second-order Copeland, and Schulze (all Condorcet methods), and FPTP, Borda, 1/n Borda, Hare, Nanson, and 1/n Nanson. Of proportional representation, it supports CPO-STV, CFPRM, and D'Hondt without lists.
IMathAS (Internet Mathematics Assessment System) is a Web-based math testing and homework system. It is a light course/learning management system and testing system, similar to and inspired by WebWork and WIMS, and similar to textbook-bundled systems like iLrn and MathXL. It requires a browser with MathML and SVG support such as Firefox 1.5 or IE6 with plugins.
The MATNEM Toolbox is a set of MATLAB objects and classes which provides an interface to the Numerical Econometrics Library, a library of econometric routines written in the C language. The aim of the project is to provide an easy, quick, and object-oriented interface for applied econometric analysis. The NEM library also ensures a good level of performance. Among other features, the MATNEM toolbox contains time series data objects, ultra high-frequency data management algorithms, nonlinear estimation routines (ARMA, multiplicative error models (GARCH, ACD)), and frequentist model averaging algorithms (linear regression model, multiplicative error models (GARCH, ACD)).
Raiden is an extremely lightweight and fast block cipher, developed using genetic programming. Its aims are to be simple enough to be remembered by heart and to be compact, highly portable, and light enough to be implemented in resource constrained environments. It was developed with the intention of being an alternative to TEA, with the same speed and without any of its known weaknesses.
