The JThread package contains classes that represent a thread and a mutex. On a Unix-like platform, the pthread library is used as the underlying thread mechanism. On an MS Windows platform, Win32 threads are used. By using these wrapper classes, you can easily create applications that use threads without having to worry about which platform the program will be running on.
Libxslt is a C library for GNOME which allows developers to work with XSLT. It is based on libxml for XML parsing, tree manipulation, and XPath support. Also included is 'xsltproc', a command line XSLT processor. The library is written in plain C, making as few assumptions as possible, and sticking closely to ANSI C/POSIX for easy embedding. It should work on Linux, Unix, and Windows. Though not designed primarily with performances in mind, libxslt seems to be a relatively fast processor. It also include full support for the EXSLT set of extension functions as well as some common extensions present in other XSLT engines.
Struct::Compare is a Perl module that compares two values of any type and structure and returns true if they are the same. It does a deep comparison of the structures, so a hash of a hash of a whatever will be compared correctly. This is especially useful for writing unit tests for your modules.
tclib is a library/framework for type-specific collections in Java. It provides basic implementations for several common varieties of collections, including growable arrays, stacks, queues, hash maps, and hash sets. Both primitive and object element types are supported. Some specific typed variants are supplied for each collection flavor, and instructions are included for easily deriving other typed variants based on the code provided.
