wApua is a WAP WML browser written in Perl with a Tk user interface. It uses libwww-perl as its backend, has history and cache, and can display most WML tags, including tables and WBMP images. It includes a WBMP to XBM (wbmp2xbm) converter for command line use. It runs under X11 on Linux, BSD, Solaris, and Mac OS X as well as on Windows (both native and under Cygwin with X11). It should also work on other operating systems which are supported by Perl 5.6 or higher and Tk 800 or higher.
wad2svg takes a level file for the computer game Doom, and draws a 2D map of the level as an SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) file. This can then be edited and/or converted to a raster image using a suitable vector graphics programs. wad2svg can also draw the node tree of a Doom level, and is designed to be extended to draw other aspects of the level.
watch_dvb is a simple script that allows DVB users to easily watch a TV channel using the low-end application dvbstream. It uses the channel lists provided with 'szap' and handles the channel tuning. As a gimmick there is an interactive mode that is used when the specified pattern matches more than one channel. Additionally you can stream the DVB data to another workstation on the network.
Waterfall is a visualization plugin for XMMS. It's yet another spectrum analyzer, but it presents the data better, which makes it more interesting to watch. Most analyzers show a changing 2D bar graph of frequency vs. intensity. This one shows a scrolling 4D plot of frequency, time, intensity, and a configurable fourth variable mapped to hue.
Waveblend is a focus enhancing tool. It implements an image fusion algorithm to combine many images to one, using the images most in focus at each point; the resulting image is in focus everywhere. It uses the complex dual-tree two dimensional discrete wavelet transform algorithm, with a number of pre- and post-processing steps.
