TipRPC provides a fast, easy syntax for RPC among C++ programs. It supports calling remote functions as if they were local, registering multiple handlers for incoming calls (multicast, essentially), overriding the same RPC function name by differing arguments, fast packaging up of arguments and return values, conversion of data as needed before transport, and template specialization for packaging up new data types. Various transports are supported, including TCP/IP (IPv4 and IPv6), UNIX domain sockets, and memory sockets.
Gumshoe is a program that connects to multiple file sharing services, allowing one to search and download from any of them simultaneously with a consistent interface. Currently only Napster and Gnutella are supported. A plugin system makes it easy to add more. A console UI is implemented, graphical and possibly HTML/HTTP interfaces will come later.
Reverse Pimpage Revision 2 is the rewrite of Reverse Pimpage. Its purpose is to allow you remote access to boxes that are behind firewalls. This is extremely useful for boxes which use LAN IP's as well as firewalls which only allow you to browse the web and not access your box from home. However, it's not necessarily useful if you have administrative access to the firewall itself.
