wmCalendar is a calendar dockapp with a monthly view and an interface to iCal-based calendars like Evolution or Mozilla. It features Gregorian, Persian, and Islamic calendar support, moon phases, variable start of the week, popup detail info about a day's events, and app.launcher.
wxRemind is a wxPython-based front/back-end for Remind, a powerful calendar and alarm application. The display features a calendar and daily event list suitable for visualizing your schedule at a glance. Dates and associated events can be quickly selected either with the mouse or cursor keys, and dates in the calendar are color coded to reflect the total duration of scheduled events. wxRemind integrates with an external editor of your choice to make editing of reminder files more efficient, provides hotkeys to quickly access the most commonly used options, and allows popup, sound, and/or spoken alarms.
xReporter is a Web-based database reporting framework. It allows you to create flexible reports without any programming (SQL knowledge is required). It is based on a lot of Apache open source projects such as Avalon, Cocoon, and Tomcat. It makes extensive use of XML and related technologies, such as XSLT.
xfax is a powerful X fax program, including a faxviewer, a faxprinter, and a faxconverter from various formats to fax G3 format. It supports front page generation in 3 modes (ASCII, Postscript, TeX/LaTeX), and enables users to forward a list of documents of various types (ASCII files, TeX/LateX files, PostScript or PDF documents, images, etc.). Xfax requires the Xforms library and works well in combination with the efix/efax tools.
xhtml2pdf converts HTML/XHTML/XHML to PDF using the ReportLab Toolkit, the HTML5lib, and pyPdf. It supports HTML 5 and CSS 2.1 (and some of CSS 3). The main benefit of this tool that a user with Web skills like HTML and CSS is able to generate PDF templates very quickly without learning new technologies.
xlHtml converts an Excel spreadsheet file (.xls) into highly-optimized HTML. It includes scripts to allow it to be used as a Netscape or mutt plugin and as a xls handler for Apache. The program currently supports string, blank, boolean, error, integer, floating point, hyperlinks, and formula cells. It can also output in XML, tab delimited, or comma separated values (CSV).
