Multiverse Miner is a sci-fi RPG that aims to combine an incremental experience with rich crafting and questing experiences. Since unlocking the true potential of the elements, wormholes have been created and mastered, space travel occurs at the speed of light, and the elements in the universe can be manipulated at your whim. Fascinated with the advancements in geology, physics, and time travel, you decide to pick up your pickaxe, build yourself a ship, and explore the farthest reaches of the universe.
UCS is a reliable, pre-configured Linux server operating system featuring: Active Directory-like domain services compatible with Microsoft Active Directory; a mature and easy-to-use Web-based management system for user, rights, and infrastructure management; a scalable underlying concept suited for single server scenarios as well as to run and manage thousands of clients and servers for thousands of users within one single UCS domain; an app center providing single-click installation and integration of many business applications from 3rd parties and Univention; management capabilities to manage Linux- and UNIX-based clients; and command line, scripting interfaces, and APIs for automatization and extension. Its purpose is to provide Microsoft Server-like services on the cloud or on the premises, to run and operate corporate IT environments with Windows- and Linux-based clients, and to extend those environments with proven enterprise software.
SYINF shows in brief a system's CPU brand and model, RAM size, disk space, operating system, regional parameters, and current date and time. It can run in interactive (menu) or batch mode. There are two versions, in the C and C++ languages. They have been tested on 21 (15) compilers, 27 (26) operating systems, and 19 architectures. (Figures in parentheses are for the C++ version.) Both versions are conveyed in source code form only, each as a single ~35 KB source text file.
Hierarchical Cluster Engine is a a solution that can be used to construct custom network meshes or distributed network cluster structures with several types of relations between nodes. It supports handling of management requests from multiple source points, native reduction of results from multiple nodes (aggregation, duplicate elimination, sorting, etc.), a powerful full-text search engine and data storage, transaction-less and transactional request processing, and many language bindings for client-side integration.
Yioop! is a PHP search engine. Yioop! can be configured as either a general purpose search engine for the whole Web or it can be configured to provide search results for a set of URLs or domains. Yioop can crawl pages or can directly index archives such as ARC and WARC. It supports indexing several file formats such as HTML, Atom, PDF, DOC, PPT, RTF, RSS, XML, SVG, PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, and sitemaps. The Yioop! crawler can be deployed on one or many machines. It supports having one or more to crawl scheduler processes, as well as multiple fetchers and mirrors. Crawling respects robots.txt including Crawl-delay. Yioop! crawls are stored in a Web archive format that is easy to move around. Crawling can be done on one machine and the results deployed elsewhere. Yioop! supports mixing of crawls. Yioop! comes with a search front end that can be localized as desired using a GUI. This GUI supports RTL languages. Management of crawls can also be done using this GUI. Yioop! can be configured in a straightforward manner to make use of file caching or memcache if available.

Once installed on a server, every member of a lab can write up their experiments, upload files, manage a database of products (antibodies, chemicals, siRNA, papers, or whatever you want). It was created with usability and security in mind, is very easy to use, and has a long list of features specific to research life.
