Muldex-sampler is a lightweight and efficient data collection tool for use with the Muldex monitoring service. It samples system data including CPU utilization, disk and partition utilization, file and inode object counts, interrupt rates, context switching rates, fork rates, load average, network interface activity, memory and VM utilization, swapping, and paging rates. The sampler communicates this collected data to the Muldex server in a transmit-on-change fashion to minimize network traffic while still supporting a relatively high sample rate of 1HZ.
Archive Games is a project to distribute games via the Internet in an easy-to-use compact interface. It allows users to browse, download, update, and launch games. Game authors can autonomously release patches to their users, who may update their installations with a single button click.
JPerf is a perfect hash function generator for Java. The principle of perfect hashing is to reduce the average constant overhead of a hash table by precomputing a hash function which is optimal for the key set. Other advantages include a reduction in memory usage. Finding such a hash function is hard, especially in the general case. These run-time savings come at a cost of increased map creation time. JPerf can create a perfect hash function for a given set of keys and values.
The XE Toolkit is a multi-platform, network-aware, secure performance monitoring solution for tactical analysis of enterprise computing systems. It uses Java and provides an API in the form of Java jar files that contain the programmatic interfaces needed to craft custom tools. It remains a toolkit, perhaps more complex than the SE Toolkit, but also far more versatile.
TigerCube is an operating system that offers an all-in-one communications platform (including an advanced phone system and email), network security (with a firewall, content filtering, and virtual private networking), file sharing, and a fully integrated backup solution under a single, unified environment. TigerCube is free to use for up to 5 users.
Thor Panel is a Web-based server administration software solution. Its primary function is to ease the administration of client management, billing, management of Internet traffic (e.g. bandwidth limitation and restriction), security (e.g. firewall management), and messaging. Thor Panel centralizes all these functions and more. It has built-in support for an email server (Qmail), an FTP server (ProFtpd), a proxy server (Squid), and a DC++ server (VerliHub). Thor Panel is modular and can be extended to cover other server functions, such as a Web server.
