It supports several bibliography formats (BibTeX, Refer, Medline, ISI, Ovid) and can be used for searching, editing, reformatting, etc, through its nice graphical interface for GNOME. Due to its nature, it can be extended to many uses (generating HTML pages according to bibliographic searches, etc). It is provided with sample scripts.

It also includes a command line utility that can make many things (including backups) and an SMS gateway with full MySQL and PostgreSQL support from the PHP interface.
