Syndicate Press is a Wordpress plugin that lets you include RSS feeds directly in your Wordpress posts or pages. This plugin provides a very easy-to-use administration page and includes great features such as feed caching, filters, and multiple display options. The plugin is highly configurable and works with your site's theme and it does not force arbitrary formatting of the RSS feed contents.
Graffiti is an RDF store based on dynamic translation of RDF queries into SQL. It allows you to map any relational database schema into RDF semantics and vice-versa, and to store any RDF data in a relational database. Since 2003, this RDF store was used as the primary means of data access in the Samizdat open publishing engine, and now it's released as a stand-alone module ready for use in other applications.
FDRDF is a tool that builds a catalogue of descriptions in an RDF representation of the specified files. The descriptions currently include: file status (as per the stat system call); SHA-1 hash over the file contents; MIME type (as guessed by the file tool), geospatial metadata (as per GDAL), and GRIB file composition (as per GRIB API).
4store is an efficient, scalable, and stable RDF database. It was developed to underpin Semantic Web applications. It has been providing a base platform for these applications for around 3 years. It has successfully held and run queries over databases of 15GT, supporting a Web application used by hundreds of thousands of people.
The Cainteoir Engine is a library for reading and recording different document formats (ePub, HTML, MHT, RTF, email, and others) to various audio output formats (such as PulseAudio, WAV, and Ogg/Vorbis). It also provides the following command-line tools: cainteoir, a front-end to the Cainteoir text-to-speech library; metadata, which extracts metadata from documents to RDF tuples; and tagcloud, which generates tag clouds and tag cloud data.
The Linked Media Framework is an easy-to-set-up server application that bundles central Semantic Web technologies to offer advanced services. The Linked Media Framework consists of LMF Core and LMF Modules. The core component of the Linked Media Framework is a Linked Data Server that allows you to expose data following the Linked Data Principles. The Linked Data Server implemented as part of the LMF goes beyond the Linked Data principles by extending them with Linked Data Updates and by integrating management of metadata and content and making both accessible in a uniform way. Its extensions are described in more detail in LinkedMediaPrinciples. In addition to the Linked Data Server, the LMF Core also offers a highly configurable Semantic Search service and a SPARQL endpoint. Setting up and using the Semantic Search component is described in SemanticSearch. Accessing the SPARQL endpoint is described in SPARQLEndpoint. Whereas the extension of the Linked Data principles is already conceptually well-described, work is proceeding on a proper specification and extension of Semantic Search and SPARQL endpoint for Linked Data servers.
