The Easysoft ODBC-ODBC Bridge allows applications on one machine to access ODBC data sources on another. It supports multiple concurrent connections from multiple clients to multiple target databases. The principle application is to enable access from Linux and Unix platforms to remote ODBC databases. For example, Apache/PHP programs on Linux can read/write data held on MS SQL Server on Windows, and Perl programs can read/write data held in a MS Access database. Supported applications include Applixware, Open Office, Python, Rexx/SQL, mnGoSearch, OpenLDAP, and Oracle sqlplus. Supported platforms include Linux, MacOSX, IBM zSeries, Windows and various Unix flavors.
IBM Object REXX is an object-oriented programming language suited for beginners as well as experienced OO programmers. It is upwardly compatible with previous versions of classic REXX. It provides many programming interfaces to existing applications, such as DB2, C, and C++ applications.
Open Object Rexx is an object-oriented scripting language. The language is designed for "non-programmer" type users, so it is easy to learn and easy to use, and provides an excellent vehicle to enter the world of object-oriented programming without much effort. It extends the procedural way of programming with object-oriented features that allow you to gradually change your programming style as you learn more about objects.
SFTPPlus is a secure file transfer (SFTP) program that uses the SSH protocol with additional audit and automation capabilities to meet regulatory and corporate compliance requirements. Server and client editions are available. Transfers may be made to and from internal servers or third party external standard SFTP servers/clients. Supported protocols include SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS. A version that includes a FIPS 140-2 module is available.
BSF4ooRexx is a Java language binding for the scripting language ooRexx. It allows ooRexx programmers to directly use the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) libraries. It allows, for example, implementation of Java methods in ooRexx and callbacks from Java to ooRexx. It camouflages Java so that it resembles ooRexx by being dynamically typed and caseless. BSF4ooRexx comes with built-in support for programming OpenOffice.org/LibreOffice.org and allows ooRexx to be used as a macro language.
