QtDMM is a simple DMM readout program which includes a configurable recorder. The recorder features manual start, scheduled start (at a given time), and triggered automatic start and starting of external applications when given thresholds are reached. It was written for the Metex multimeter, and compatible multimeters like VOLTCRAFT. It has been tested with the following Multimeters: Metex M-3660D, M-3830D, M-3850D, ME-11, ME-22, ME-32, Universal system 9160, PeakTech 4010 and 451, Radioshack 22-805, and Voltcraft M-4660, ME-11, and ME-32, but it should work with other DMMs that support the same protocol.
Viking is a GTK2-based GPS data editor and viewer. It can download and show OpenStreetMaps, Terraserver, and other maps, import and draw tracks and waypoints over them, add coordinate lines, make new tracks and waypoints, hide different things, and more. It uses a hierarchical layering system to organize GPS data, maps, and other layer types with spatial data (such as coordinate lines).
Freeverb3 is a signal processing library. It includes many types of audio processing effects and signal generators including a linear feedback shift register (LFSR) maximum length sequence (MLS) generator, multiple types of high quality mono+stereo reverb effects, a multi slot impulse response processor, multiband hardknee+softknee compressor and limiter, a stereo enhancer, a limiter, and many types of infinite impulse respose (IIR) and finite impulse response (FIR) filters. Also available is Freeverb3VST, a VST effects plugins package based on the Freeverb3 library.
gnuplot plots 2d and 3d graphs, from a data file or with a formula. It has an interactive mode with online help, or it can be used non-interactively. gnuplot does function fitting to data sets, and it does output to many terminals, among which are PostScript, X11 display, PNG, and GIF (via the old gd library).
Warewulf is an operating system management toolkit designed to facilitate large scale deployments of homogeneous and heterogeneous systems on physical, virtual and cloud based infrastructures. Originally, the Warewulf project pioneered the concept of stateless computing in HPC, setting the standard for large-scale cluster provisioning. It provided two functions, provisioning and monitoring but the two functions did not communicate within Warewulf itself, nor was it possible to hook other functions directly into Warewulf itself. Today, Warewulf is more than just a basic provisioning and monitoring solution as it now implements an abstract, object-oriented data store and a modular interface that facilitates a highly extensible, customizable feature set. Current and planned modules include monitoring (operating system, services, filesystems, etc.), provisioning, power management, user management, configuration management, event/trigger handling and notification, scheduler integration, cloud services (both local and remote), etc.
