PalmADC is an open hardware/software system for data acquisition using a Palm handheld. The 10-bit 8 channel sampling is provided by a Atmel AVR device that communicates via a RS-232 with the PDA. Digital I/O with the device is also possible. The example programs demonstrate control, sampling, and graphing of results. Schematics, a board template, and source code are provided.
ViewDog is a viewer for nurbs functions, polygonal geometry, and to some degree for iso surfaces of functions over a 3D domain (via marching cube). It also can be used as a graphical frontend for a number of interpolation and approximation algorithms contained in a seperate library (GUL). Import and export via Alias Wavefront 3.0 OBJ files is possible, so it can be used simply as a viewer for OBJ files, too.
BPKIT is a toolkit of block preconditioners for the iterative solution of linear systems. The most effective general purpose and black-box type of preconditioners are available, including block SSOR, block tridiagonal ILU, and the block extension of point ILU with level-of-fill. Any of these "global" preconditioners may be coupled with one of a large collection of "local" preconditioners for approximately or exactly inverting or solving with the diagonal or pivot blocks. These include a number of approximate inverse techniques. By combining a global and local preconditioner, a wide variety of preconditionings are possible, matched to the difficulty and structure of the problem.
