xemmai is a dynamic programming language. It has lambda closures, classes, exceptions, modules, threads, and fibers. It is implemented in C++ and has a C++ friendly API to implement extension modules. It aims to be a general purpose glue language. It runs on Linux, Windows, and hopefully other Unix systems. Internally, codes are executed on a byte code interpreter. It also has a concurrent garbage collector to utilize multiple processors.
xhtml2pdf converts HTML/XHTML/XHML to PDF using the ReportLab Toolkit, the HTML5lib, and pyPdf. It supports HTML 5 and CSS 2.1 (and some of CSS 3). The main benefit of this tool that a user with Web skills like HTML and CSS is able to generate PDF templates very quickly without learning new technologies.
xlSQL is a JDBC Driver for Excel, CSV, and other document data sources. Documents can be read and written with SQL as if they were tables in a database. In the case of Excel, xlSQL maps a directory with Excel files to a database, workbooks to schemas, and sheets to tables. These tables can be queried with the full SELECT syntax of either the HSQLDB, MySQL, or McKoi SQL dialect. Native xlSQL is a rich subset of SQL for creating, altering, and populating documents.
