Adeos Filesystem Security Scanner is an automated filesystem security scanner. It recursively walks all mounted filesystems on the local system, and attempts to identify common security concerns, such as SUID, and world-writeable files. The output is available as text or HTML, with either output type formatted in either report or list style. Text is written to stdout and may be redirected to a file, while HTML is written to a file named results.html in the local directory.

netview lets you browse, mount, and unmount SMB shares using any browser, but especially Konqueror or any browser which is also a file manager. It provides actual mounting of shares so you can edit files on them. It addes mounted shares to /etc/fstab automatically so they will be remounted, and manages storage of passwords in a $HOME/.smbpasswd file for later auto-mounting of shares.
idtools is a set of tools for working with user and group IDs. The cvmlogin program is a console login program that authenticates via a CVM module. The loginshell program runs $SHELL with '-' in argv. The setstate program modifies its process state in various ways and executes a given command.
