The NeatSeeker project provides a simple, all-Java indexing and searching framework with an out-of the box HTML indexer and a fast search application servlet for small to medium websites. NeatSeeker does not require a database backend, as it uses serialized Java objects for storing the indices.

OjBect Console is a Web application that provides administrative facilities for the Object Relational Bridge (OJB) persistence framework. This console provides transparent browse, search, create, update, and delete functionality for the objects configured within OJB. In addition, it provides administrative functionality such as cache management and a configuration viewer. Finally, it can be extended to build a data management Web application. The general idea is to provide a useful administrative tool to OJB and a solid reference application for OJB/Struts.
OSAccess is an entitlement security engine for prodividing fine grained security access. OpenIM is a Java implementation of a Jabber server. It is a complete rewrite of the Jaba Server project, and it supports the Jabber server to server communication protocol. It also supports Presence, Message, and Roster. Persistent storage is done in an XML file using XStream lib. It has been tested successfully with many clients such as Exodus, Rhymbox, GAIM, Psi, Greenthumb, and the Kopete.
OSCache is a high performance J2EE caching solution that can cache portions of JSP pages, entire HTTP responses (including dynamically generated images), and arbitrary Java objects. It can provide your J2EE application with huge performance gains and graceful error tolerance (e.g., in the event of a DB failure, cached content is served).
