Empire is a game that is played against human opponents over a computer network. It is possible for a game to last from a few hours to many months. While the common goal of an Empire player is to win, there is no clear-cut definition of what winning is. Players may seek to achieve whatever goals they want to achieve.
Colossus is an attempt to create a Java clone of Avalon Hill's Titan, an out-of-print fantasy wargame. The main goal is networked multiplayer, allowing Titan players to more easily find opponents (networking works, but is not very robust yet). There is a working but not very strong AI, and in addition to the standard game, Colossus includes support for several variants.
GoVRec is software for recording Go games on a Linux PDA. It was developed for the Agenda VR3 but uses XLib only, so it can be compiled on any computer with X11. Also, due to its layout it is easily portable to any PDA which can be programmed in C++. It features autosaving, sound, adding/replacing stones, browsing variations, etc.
Space Hulk is a board game which takes place in the world of Warhammer 40000. It is a two player turn-based game where one player plays the 'Marine', and the other player plays the alien called 'Genestealer'. This video game is a complete conversion of the board game with the 2nd edition rules. It features playing over the network, either in real time or asynchronously via email.
